Conference about Athena Nike at the University of Pisa

The statue of Athena Nike, belonging to Fondazione Sorgente Group was the protagonist of a conference held at the Scuola Normale Superiore (University of Pisa) from 3^rd to 4^th April 2014.

The conference was organized thanks to prof. Gianfranco Adornato and was attended by the world’s major specialist of Greek sculpture to debate about chronology, iconography and original environment of this sculpture. The Lectio-magistralis by prof. La Rocca inaugurated the seminar.
