Prorogata fino al 10 gennaio 2014 la mostra \u201cAthena Nike: la vittoria della dea. Marmi greci del V e del IV secolo a.C. della Fondazione Sorgente Group\u201d nello Spazio Espositivo Tritone a Roma. Grande affluenza di visitatori per il progetto multimediale nato da un\u2019idea di Paola Mainetti, Vicepresidente della Fondazione Sorgente Group: la statua del 430 a.C. mostra il suo aspetto originario con suggestive proiezioni tridimensionali, realizzate dalla Mizar di Paco Lanciano, che hanno affascinato ed emozionato il pubblico di ogni et\u00e0 sin dal giorno della sua apertura, il 6 febbraio 2013. Ha riscosso anche grande successo l\u2019apertura serale in occasione della Notte dei Musei, sabato 18 maggio scorso, con una elevata partecipazione di pubblico. Numerosi anche gli studiosi universitari, docenti italiani ed esteri e gli Istituti di ricerca stranieri venuti ad ammirare e studiare la scultura e le altre opere greche in marmo esposte e ritenute di notevole pregio artistico: tre lekythoi e una louthrophoros in marmo pentelico databili nel primo trentennio del IV secolo a.C., con rilievo inciso, che vanno a costituire il pi\u00f9 numeroso nucleo conservato all\u2019interno di un\u2019unica collezione privata; uno splendido rilievo votivo tessalico con quadriga condotta dall\u2019eroe Achille affiancato dalla madre Teti, infine due volti femminili di divinit\u00e0 e un busto femminile di et\u00e0 imperiale scolpito da mano di artista greco. Gli studi e gli approfondimenti condotti sulle opere esposte sono stati raccolti in un catalogo che vede le firme di Eugenio La Rocca, Elena Ghisellini, Massimiliano Papini, Matthias Bruno, Alessandra Avagliano, edito da De Luca Editore.
